The film follows a tech billionaire called Miles Bron who invites a group of friends to his private island via some convoluted puzzles. Once they arrive, they see that he has put on an elaborate murder mystery game for fun – but Benoit Blanc seems to believe that something more dangerous may be afoot.   Glass Onion had a limited theatrical release at the end of November, but now the film isn’t available to watch on the big screen anymore. Fortunately, you can now stream it – just in time for Christmas.

When is Glass Onion available to stream?

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is out now on Netflix. Plans for Netflix start from just $6.99/£4.99 now that the service has introduced its Basic with Ads tier – you can read up on which plan is right for you if you’ve not yet got a subscription.   In the meantime, you can check out the trailer for Glass Onion below:

Will Glass Onion release on DVD, Blu-ray or VOD?

As of yet, we have not heard of any plans for Netflix to distribute Glass Onion for home release, digitally or physically.

How to watch Knives Out

If you’d like to relieve the first Knives Out film, then you’ll need to either rent or buy the film on VOD or DVD. In the US and UK, the film isn’t available to stream on any major service (this wasn’t a Netflix exclusive like Glass Onion).  It’s worth noting that you can easily still watch Glass Onion without seeing Knives Out. Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc character does appear in both, but the events of the first film are only really mentioned in passing. That said, it is a brilliant movie.   Here are the places that you can get Knives Out from:

US – VOD

UK – VOD

US -DVD/Blu-ray

UK – DVD/Blu-ray
