Take a screenshot on Switch
Regardless of the mode you’re using the Switch in, you’ll find a square button with a circle in the middle on the left Joy-Con controller. The same button can also be found on the Pro controller. This is called the capture button so all you need to do to take a screenshot is press it once. Do it as many times as you like and your screenshots will be found in Album on the main homescreen.
Record a gameplay video
Grabbing the last 30 seconds of gameplay is also really easy. When you’ve done something awesome you want to capture, press and hold the capture button we mentioned above. Like screenshots, the video will be saved to Album where you can edit it, copy to SD card and share to social media. You can capture up to 100 videos assuming you have the available storage space. The caveat is that you can only capture gameplay video with certain games:
